Dublin City University (DCU) offers several scholarships to international students who want to study there. The scholarships may be country-specific, discipline-specific, university-funded, government-funded, or other agency-funded. International students may qualify for fee reductions, accommodations, and other aids.
DCU International Merit Scholarships

DCU Merit Scholarship
Some non-EU students are eligible for partial merit-based scholarships from DCU. Applying to DCU as a non-EU student automatically qualifies you for a scholarship. DCU will get in touch with you to inform you whether your application to study at DCU was accepted, & will let you know if you’re eligible for a scholarship.
DCU Humanities and Social Sciences Bursary
High-achieving non-EU applicants who have been offered a postgraduate degree at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences are eligible to apply for this merit-based stipend. The full-time 2025–2026 Non-EU tuition fees for your postgraduate program will be reduced by €2,000 for those who are selected. This bursary is automatically awarded to all non-EU applicants to postgraduate programs in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. Email notifications will only be sent to the successful beneficiaries.
Faculty of Engineering & Computing International Scholarship
This scholarship is available for Non-EU applicants who have an offer to study in eligible postgraduate programmes in the Faculty of Engineering and Computing. Successful
recipients will receive a €5,900 fee reduction on the full-time 2025–2026 Non-EU Tuition fee
All non-EU applicants to a postgraduate programme in the Faculty of Engineering and Computing are automatically considered for this bursary.
Successful recipients of the bursary are notified via email.
Eligible programmes for 2025-26 are:
- DC814 – MEng Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering
- DC836 – MSc in Computing
- DC883 – MSc Electronic and Computer Engineering
- DC896 – MSc Electronic and Computer Technology
DCU Business School International Scholarship
This scholarship is available for non-EU applicants who have an offer to study in eligible postgraduate programmes in the DCU Business School. Successful recipients will receive a €900-€1,400 fee reduction on the full-time 2025–2026 non-EU Tuition fee.
All non-EU applicants to a postgraduate programme in the DCU Business School are automatically considered for this bursary.
