Overview
The Loughborough University Global Excellence Scholarship provides a 90% tuition fee discount for full-time postgraduate taught (master’s) programs at the Loughborough University London campus.
The scholarship is targeted towards innovative and disruptive thinkers who want to create positive change.
Coverage
90% of the tuition fees will be credited to the successful student’s tuition fee account
Eligible Courses
All full-time Postgraduate Taught (Masters) programmes starting October 2025 or January 2026 on the London campus.
Criteria
All candidates for the scholarship must fulfill the following requirements:
- Have applied for and received an offer from their preferred master’s programme at Loughborough University London – not open to the Loughborough campus programmes
- Demonstrate disruptive thinking and a commitment to change in one of our three strategic themes: Climate Change, Vibrant and Inclusive Communities or Sport, Health and Wellbeing
How to Apply
- All applicants must complete an application form outlining how they meet the criteria.
- No further documentation is needed, and any other documents submitted will NOT be reviewed.
Timeline
31 July 2025 – application deadline
5 August 2025 – shortlisted candidates contacted and required to attend a video interview
6 August 2025 – video interviews
8 August 2025 – successful candidates notified

- The scholarship will replace any other Loughborough University scholarships or bursaries that may already have been awarded to the successful candidates
- It is open to candidates with 4study offer from Loughborough University London only.
- Candidates need to complete all sections of this form & provide supporting documentary evidence where necessary
